A brief introduction to my EMG world.

While this post is more visual than anything I’ve ever posted on Substack, I made these graphics for Instagram and they say all the things I want to tell you and we are working smarter not harder in 2026 okkk.

I am currently deep in edits and revisions to my manuscript. As my amazing fabulous unparalleled magical editor Zara Barrie says about this step: The house is built, now we get to decorate. It’s all very exciting, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a little nerve-wracking as well. When you spend so long working on a project, it becomes a living breathing entity (not in a scary horror movie set in an asylum way relax) whom you care about deeply and want to do your best by. Plus, I want you to have a really fun book to read.

All this to say, I’ll have my head down for a bit longer, but once this book wings her way to my Advanced Readers (SO soon vom), more posts are coming your way: rants about life, behind the scenes bits about publishing a book, cutting room floor stories that didn’t make it in (one involves the Jersey Shore, you should probably stick around for that one), my unending quest to be a person who puts away her clothes at the end of every day instead of haphazardly piling them on the dresser like some cracked out squirrel. Ugh. Anyway… send organizing tips ILYSM.
